The Weekly REV3AL — Week of September 26th, 2022
Hello, REV3ALers! It’s been quite a week, and all hands have been on deck since our last update — and for good reason — we are currently in the process of deploying V2 of our smart contract for our $REV3L token! We are proud to have the assistance of our partner, DRIVENecosystem, alongside us for this deployment process and look forward to its eventual completion. Here are our tech and dev team updates from the past week, followed by the information on our V2 migration.
TECH & DEV TEAM UPDATES
Web Portal & Security API Updates
This past week we worked hard on making small but significant design updates to our User Interface (UI). Although these updates are minor they are bringing us closer to our final version and we are very pleased with the progress.
We spent time testing the API Registration Process & the Watermark Detection Process. Both of these elements are crucial and we will continue to make advances here in the coming weeks.
Our team was also working with the Interplanetary File System (IPFS) to test how assets are stored and we’ve worked to break down this information so that we can effectively track and search it once our security suite is active.
Our team continued to work on creating our API developer documentation for both internal and external use. The public version is taking shape alongside our development and this is the best way to ensure that we have our documentation as robust as possible once released. In tandem, we also worked on our copywriting and terms for our web portal content so that we can properly inform users of our features and policies once we are live. Those policies are being checked by our legal team right now to make sure we’re doing everything correctly.

NFT Marketplace Updates
We’ve made significant development on the backend of our NFT marketplace, specifically when it comes to the API of our user accounts, and the development of our listings & collections features. Also taking place in the background is the development of our marketplace smart contract.
We worked on the configuration of our frontend React app to ensure that the user experience (UX) and the user interface (UI) are both at the highest level. We are striving to make our marketplace both functional and designed elegantly — a hard task, but one we are confident that we can achieve. Similarly, we worked on our more design-related tasks including our branding concepts and how the brand of the NFT marketplace parallels the overall brand.

GENERAL TEAM UPDATES
V2 Migration of our $REV3L Token Smart Contract
We are well underway with the migration of our smart contract to the new V2 version, and we are delighted with the increased security and additional features that the V2 brings to the table. Our future scalability was one of the primary reasons for the upgrade, but there are many great features that we covered in a previous article. For a list of those features, please follow this link.
We held an AMA and answered questions for token holders and our community — we did this with the help of our partner, DRIVENecosystem.

Web Content & Overall Brand Updates
Our teams are hard at work polishing the overall brand, to the level that is befitting of the high-value, trusted, expert in the securities space that our brand represents. We are very excited to share details with you regarding our brand icon and how that will work with our existing trademarked logo in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for those visual updates!
